The Ottertail is a traditional paddle style which has been commonly used by paddle-makers for many years. It has a smaller, symmetrical blade that is easy to pull through the water and is quite responsive to the paddler. For kids we offer a smaller 5" Ottertail. The 5" Ottertail offers the right size blade for children.

For sizing, best to select a length the same as the child's height. Since they will be growing quickly it's not a bad idea to buy one a little on the long side.
